This site is devoted to the descendants of Daniel William Hogan who, according to his Civil War enlistment papers, was born March 1, 1836 in Rupert, Vermont (the son of William and Helen) and Alice Whalen Hogan born December 25, 1842 in Kilmurray, County Kilkenny, Ireland (the daughter of Michael and Johannah Whalen(Whalon)).
